I've read a few books by Amanda Grange, but not the diaries of Captain Wentworth (I added this one to my list for this year!) or Edmund Bertram. So far my favorite of hers has been Mr Darcy's Diary.

You might try the Jane Austen series by Debra White Smith. They are contemporary Christian retellings and kind of fun.
